Dream Fragments
I am redoing my ponytail and half of my hair falls out in my hand as a big chunk.
Someone stole my clothes including my favorite sweatshirt. I am very sad. It feels like a big loss.
I have a tiny red lightbulb in my left ear that needs to be removed.
I am at my mom and dad’s house, getting attacked by a snake head. The snake has no body at first but then starts growing a body with legs. It can’t be contained. There is no venom but lots of sharp teeth.
I am sitting around the dinner table with my mom and sisters. My older sister and I make eye contact and to be funny I stick out my tongue and she pretend “dies.” Then we all start playing the poison dart frog game. I am the poison dart frog.
I am missing a knee cap and have to have surgery to get a new one. The “hospital” is the doctor’s front porch and the “beds” are lawn chairs. Strangely, I trust the doctor to do a good job but I am so afraid of the pain!
It is the night before I am going to be swimming across the Atlantic Ocean with my family. We are in my home town. Everyone else seems ready, prepared, but I feel a bit anxious, like I don’t have everything I need.
