Here’s what you can expect along the way
1. Opening the Portal
Before you can begin interpreting your dreams you have to be able to remember them! The journey starts even before our first session. When you join the waiting list you will receive the “Getting Started with Dream Work” pdf guide filled with effective tips and strategies for increasing dream recall and recording them. Your dreams long to be noticed! Once you open the portal between your conscious and unconscious, waking life and dream life, you will discover there is infinite richness and wisdom to explore. Each session, as a group, we will explore one dream in depth. Using the “If it was my dream…” projective technique, everyone in the circle will discover personal relevance while honoring and respecting the dreamer as the ultimate authority on the meaning of their own dream.
2. Deepening & Expanding
Each week you will receive an email with the weekly theme and a related (optional) activity tied to the current phase of the lunar cycle. These additional activities are intended to support you in working with the natural rhythms of the moon and your own body to deepen into your dream work practice between sessions. Activities include poetry, watercolor painting, guided meditation, journal prompts, magazine collage and more. Group resonance typically occurs at this phase of the journey and common themes begin to show up in each others’ dreams. The group process becomes increasingly emergent and co-creative with spirit.
3. Closure and Continuity
As the circle come to a close you will be invited to reflect on your experience and set an intention for how you want to continue working with your dreams. You will have learned what dream tending rituals and routines work best for you as well as preferred methods for activating and integrating the wisdom of your dreams into waking life. Resources will be provided for continued exploration including a recommended reading list with books on dream work and related topics such as lucid dreaming and dream yoga, active imagination, Jungian archetypes. mythology, and more. All participants are invited to join a Dream Sharing Circle alumni group in the Elsewhere app so we can continue sharing dreams together.

What People Are Saying About Dream Circle
-
Like a book club for dreams.
I gained insight and clarity about my dreams in a way I never could have alone. During the 10-week course, my dream life became more active than it’s ever been, and I started to embrace the significance and the gift of dreams in a new and delightful way. The dream circle helped me to integrate the important messages I was receiving at night into my waking life, helping me gain healing and growth around stuck points and blind spots.
-Kim Wilson, LCSW (North Carolina IFS therapist)
-
A complement to psychotherapy.
Though it can be difficult to put into words, the therapeutic effects of being held in a safe, curious, contained space, can be life altering. For me, this was the case in Dream Circle. It has been a wonderful complement to my own psychotherapy, I have been able to integrate insights from circle into deep healing. I am looking forward to my next session or circle with Genevieve.

-
Sense of communal reflection.
I found the most valuable aspect to be the sense of communal reflection— opening perspectives I would not have come to alone. Genevieve facilitated the circle so beautifully and skillfully. Her presence was grounded, respectful, and attuned to the needs of the group. She created a safe and inviting container where each dream could be met with curiosity. Her facilitation was a key part of what allowed the experience to feel meaningful and transformative.

-
Support through transition.
Dream Sharing Circle helped me make connections between my emotions and the hormonal changes happening in my body that I hadn't been consciously aware of before. I was able to make sense of and validate the emotional reactions I had been having at healthcare appointments and connect to my inner knowing of what was happening in my body and how to support myself through a significant transition period.
-Anneliese L.
-
A beautiful way to connect deeper.
Dream Sharing Circle was a beautiful way to connect deeper with my psyche and inner messages, opening doors to new levels of awareness and insight. I really enjoyed connecting with others in a profound way and engaging in the curiosity of it all. I felt seen and heard while sharing my dreams and really enjoyed the insights that came from the members of the circle during the exploration.”

-
Incredibly eye opening.
Dream Sharing Circle was incredibly eye opening for me. I found that my dreams held powerful information about my inner world. I loved having more hearts together exploring my dreams and helping me to navigate and understand them more vividly. As a therapist, I started using the tools I gained from the circle with my own clients, looking at dreams with more curiosity and open-heartedness.
